Former celebrity in latest attempt to make headlines...

Once seen as a child prodigy Lindsay Lohan's career has had more lows than highs in recent times. After the cuteness ran out and she progressed into adulthood without actually growing up Lohan's career was at a crossroads, with many wrong turns taken.

Most recently Lohan was said to toying with the idea of becoming a Muslim and was photographed donning headscarves and faceveils, as well as meeting with various Islamic leaders. After that publicity stunt didnt garner as much attention as expected the ever inventive Lohan has now decided that she is going to sell her virginity online.

"It's not for publicity, I just think its the right thing to do. It allows me to not only pay the bills but it ensures the buyer knows exactly what they are getting. Can you image going on dates with me, it would cost more money in the long run and I might not even put out - unless of course the guy (or girl) was famous".

Last week it was confirmed that she personally phoned every newspaper and TV channel in the United States to let them know that she plans to sell her virginity to the highest bidder on eBay. Charlie Sheen is currently leading the way after he saw off a bidding war with Fox's Bill O'Reilly. Sheen has since tweeted he is looking forward to "being a gentleman about it" and taking Lohan out for a nice meal and maybe a drink or two of his tiger blood to wash it down.

Lohan is also one of the few remaining Holywood celebrities yet to have dated Sheen so lets hope it goes ahead.
