The terror group known as ISIS have again been quick to claim responsibility for another fatal attack - this time on a bunny rabbit on board a flight to its new owner in the States.
Simon, the jet setting bunny bounced onto a flight traveling from London to Chicago. The 10 month old furry rodent was being relocated to his new owner, said to be a "famous celebrity" according to Annette Edwards, rabbit breeder.
After touching down in Chicago the 3ft rabbit was discovered lifeless, after spending the journey in the cargo department.
As soon as news broke of Simon's untimely death Wee Bin Pimpin, IS spokesman released a YouTube video to claim responsibility. "The rabbit, yes, the rabbit, it was us, it was definitely us, he was one of our soldiers. Let this be a warning to all western animals - there will be more attacks on British rabbits God willing"
Airport authorities were quick to rule out the invovement of IS or any other terrorist organisation/anti bunny groups insisting "Ah here, its beyond a joke now, them lads are just telling porkies again, these days IS would claim they shot JFK"
Efforts by United Airlines to replace the bunny without the owners noticing failed when all pet shops in the Chicago area were contacted in the search for a bunny similar to Simon. As well as being 3ft long Simon was said to huge in size due to his excessive humping and eating, making a replacement bunny more unlikely.
United Airlines spokesman Kevin Johnston meanwhile pretended "we were saddened to hear this news and we've been in contact with our customer" while trying to contain his laughter.
The unnamed owner was said to be hopping mad about the incident while a postmortem will be carried out in 5th grade science class. Simon's remains will then be sent to the local Chinese takeaway for further consumption.
RIP Simon the Bunny. 2016 - 2017
