Graham Souness made his biggest mistake since signing Nigel Clough or Ali Dia by admitting on live TV that he voted for Brexit. Immediately after he realised his mistake the look on his face said it all and it is now hoped he will make it through the next few weeks alive.
After the announcement Souness had to leave the studio during the live recording of a Champions League game. Fearing for his life he phoned Roy Keane for security. Threats were made against both the TV station airing the game and also to Souness himself, although many of them were believed to be from Craig Bellamy using a fake Twitter account.
Liberals have since announced they want him lynched for his actions, insisting he was bring far too liberal in expressing his view and there would be repercussions and that it can't go unpunished. They also have evidence that Souness could be seeking solace with Duncan Ferguson, a fellow former football Scot. Ferguson has not been seen in years but rumored to be living somewhere such as Fife where nobody in the right mind would visit even if they could find it.
Alan Shearer meanwhile has jumped to the defense of Souness, insisting that he was one "tough mudder f*****'" and that "he was only saying what others are afraid to. He too has since gone into hiding."
Liberals say they will continue their search for Souness and will wait until Ferguson is not protecting him. They also warn others to stop being so liberal
