With the rapid advance in Artificial Intelligence and modern technology there has been recent debate on whether robots could soon replace MPs. Recent studies proved favorable for robots, with factors such as cost savings, multitasking, public trust and common sense ensuring they beat their human opposition. Real life politicians did however come out on top when it came to bullshitabability as well as hosting world leaders.
The issue was again raised during a meeting at a Labour Party get together in Southampton over the weekend. Jeremy Corbyn, Labor leader being of the opinion that some robots would certainly outperform many of his colleagues currently in parliament.
"It's clear robots are not up to some of the tasks we perform in our daily duty but lets be honest here, how many hours a day do we really work. These robots can do endless work. I get a lot of my answers from Siri on my iPhone during leaders debates and I'm leader of the party"
Upon being informed of Corbyn's comments Prime Minister Theresa May disagreed and had some harsh words for Corbyn "that village idiot Corbyn again, he should have never entered politics, he's far too honest for a politician and doesn't know how to dodge questions. Robots will never replace MPs".
Loving a good scrap First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon weighed into the debate, insisting that robots might well outdo her English counterparts but not the "solid reliable Scottish MPs, who fought so hard to get where they are" and insisting that robots might "take their jobs but they would never take their freedom".
Going on step further being being dragged out of the room kicking and screaming Sturgeon also insisted that if robots were commissioned that they should be manufactured in Scotland.
