Pop star believed to have 3 tonnes of knickers in storage container

After decades of female admirer's flinging their undies at Welsh musical legend Tom Jones, the star himself has decided the time is right to cash in. Rather than donate the Jones decided raffling the undies was the correct thing to do, with all funds raised going to survivors of the recent Fyre Festival.

Jones was, and stil is targeted with undies from legions of fans when performing on stage. In total there is said to be over 3 tonnes of undies and bras from all over the UK and beyond, collected by his touring party at the end of his concerts. During the 80's the cleanup effort required after Tom Jones concerts got so bad that some venues introduced a no knickers policy for the events.

Speaking about his plans Jones said, "I was going to leave them to my nephew in my will, he's a right dirty bastard he is. The problem is them Roma kids were breaking in and robbing the American knickers, the biggest size knickers. The crafty gypsies then sell them on to company's like the North Face, who in turn use them to make parachutes and tents."

In related news Olly Murs is said to play some Tom Jones Cover covers during his upcoming show, believed to be an attempt to get more knickers thrown in his direction.
