United Airlines proof vests

UniteVest made from recycled bottles & Google Glass' to be released next month

In an effort to improve passenger welfare on United Airlines flights, global entrepreneur Elon Musk has unveiled his first 'UniteVest' model. The vests - set to the be released to the public from June, are made from recycled bottles and Google Glass devices, an inventive use of waste materials that end up at the bottom of our oceans or in some unused bedside lockers.

UniteVest's aim is to protect against excessive use of force and beatings from United Airlines and airport authority personal. Appearance-wise the vests look similar to regular vests with a heavier weight and featuring fold-over should pads. Each UniteVest comes complete with a facemask. The mask is to be used while boarding and United aircraft and recommended to be removed only once the plane has started moving and no overbookings confirmed.

Speaking on the launch of the vests Musk stated its something he really thinks will 'take off'. He says he started work on the project after seeing the bloodied face of David Dao, the United Airlines passenger who recently made headlines after a Conor McGregor style ass whooping by United Staff. The incident occurred after Mr Dao refused to vacate his seat on an overbooked flight.

Musk stated "Today is a great day for United Airlines Passengers. No longer will you have to fear choosing between vacating your seat or accepting a roughing up. We have worked closely with victims of United Airlines to produce this product. This is also an environmental friendly product, made from plastic bottles and forgotten Google Glass devices which litter so many nerds wardrobes and offices."

UniteVests will go on sale for $59. For African Americans and minority groups there is also a "UniteVest Pro" for $69 which offers stronger, bullet proof protection in the likelihood of getting shot if police get involved in any altercations.

Ryanair meanwhile are said to be concerned about UniteVests. The company recently invested heavily in staff training aimed at handing out beatings to passengers who try to skip the planned toilet charge.
