Norfolk man Peter Winters has claimed he has found the real reason clothes go missing in his home - the emergence of a black hole in the middle of his Whirlpool washing machine of 5 years.
While Winters had for a long time blamed his long suffering wife for the missing clothing the incident again arose when he tried to use the washing machine himself - for the first time.
"It started with the socks, I was buying darn socks the whole time, or else wearing odd ones. Then it started happening with my Man United jerseys, going missing the whole time. I used to think it was because the other one throwing them away, she hates me wearing jerseys, especially to events. I finally figured out there is a black hole or mini Bermuda triangle in the machine"
Winters now wants authorities to investigate and is also contemplating suing Whirlpool to the sum of 5 seasons Man United Jerseys and a Sports Direct Voucher to compensate for the missing socks.
Town Councillors in Norwich are bemused by Winters latest claims, suggesting he was always a bit odd. Whirlpool meanwhile, refused to comment.
