Ronaldo gets airport title along with statue of Wayne Rooney

Madiera takeover almost compete as Cristiano Rolando has airport named after him

History has again been made with Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo earning another accolade with the renaming of Madeira Airport. The airport is now to be known as 'Aeroporto Cristiano Ronaldo' after a lengthy campaign on behalf of fans and residents of the island. The Portuguese president, prime minister and many of Ronaldo's girlfriends past and present were in attendance for the unveiling. Batman also arrived, even if a little late.
